KLAUS STRUBEL —German born in 1952 and blessed with artistic inclination since early childhood, Klaus Strubel was awarded a competitive scholarship to the American Famous Artists School in Munich, Germany.

At 19, he graduated with the Abitur Degree in Germany which is the only school-leaving certificate which allow the holder to directly commence studies at the university. Strubel's academic studies of art history, classical archaeology. the history of printing and of hand painted book illustrations at the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz, Germany, culminated in his major of "Landscape Paintings in The 19th Century in Germany: The Romanticists of Heidelberg". He studied the architectural and constructional Plans of Baroque Buildings and supplemented his education with extensive formal training in oil and drawings in Art Academies in Mannheim and Heidelberg, Germany.

Klaus Strubel is an eloquent spokesperson for Realism. With his education, craft, skill and talent of 30 years, he continues the tradition of the Old European Masters of the 19th century with each creation. His Love of Art and Culture are evident in the award-winning paintings that he creates.

Strubels quest to create the finest paintings for the discriminating collector and lovers of Fine Art, takes you beyond the day-to-day to a place where pressure fades away as you become aware of lush vegetation, decorative architecture, classic cars, historic ships, horse carriages or picturesque splendid water scenery. Commonplace objects become extraordinary in Strubel's hands, as he captures a certain hour of the day and circumstances of light, perspective and depth. Some of his paintings are masterful reminders of the past, others, like his panoramic landscapes, seacapes and cityscapes are filled with breaktaking detail and atmosphere, celebrating the scenic nature and extolling the serenity of life therein.
